Breathe Deep Huntley is an event planned in memory of Judy Spencer to raise awareness for lung cancer research, education, and support. On December 16, 2013 Judy walked into her doctor's office and heard the dreaded "c" word. She was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer that had spread throughout her body at the young age of 65. Up until that day Judy was working part time at her church, playing and spoiling her grandchildren regularly, and walking her grand pup. On January 15, 2014, only a month after she was diagnosed, she lost her battle with lung cancer. Erin Nisi, Judy Spencer's daughter, was there for her every step of the way during her fight against lung cancer. Judy was a strong, selfless woman who never gave up. Erin is coordinating this event so that Judy's fight will continue on. Proceeds from this event go to LUNGevity Foundation to help fund lung cancer research, education, and support.
