Our Story and Event Details
Breathe Deep Salt Lake City is in celebration of Jan Poulsen's sixth
year of being a lung cancer survivor. The Poulsen family had little
information on lung cancer when Jan was diagnosed, so they turned to
LUNGevity Foundation and participated in Breathe Deep Los Angeles. Now, they are excited to provide the Salt Lake City area with the
education and support they received from LUNGevity. Breathe Deep Salt
Lake City, which raises critically needed funds for lung cancer
research, is a 5K walk in the gorgeous Sugar House Park. The course is
friendly to strollers and wheelchairs. Join us for an afternoon celebrating lung cancer survivors and raising awareness of this disease!
Honor a lost loved one or celebrate a survivor
Honor markers, each with a customized tribute message, will
be placed along the event course to guide walkers and runners. To order
your tribute message, download a form here. Forms must be in our Chicago office no later than Friday, July 26, 2013.
