Join Team LUNGevity in the 36th Bank of America Chicago Marathon and be one of the 45,000 runners to conquer the city's streets! By running one of the six World Marathon Majors you will be amoung runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries as you wind through more than 25 of Chicago's most popular neighborhoods! Between the sights, fans and personal accomplishment you won't find a better way to spend a Sunday!
Step Two: You will be sent a password and registration code you will use to register with the marathon begining March 15th.
To join Team LUNGevity, register on our site to receive your online personal fundraising page and complete the Fundraising Commitment Form (commitment is $1,000). Next, register for the marathon itself using the password and registration code sent to you by LUNGevity staff.
Already registered and want to join the team?
Register for Team LUNGevity using blue "register" button at top right and you will be contacted by LUNGevity staff. The fundraising commitment if you are already registred is $500.

What is the Fundraising Commitment?
By becoming a member of Team LUNGvity, you commit to donate or raise
funds of at least $500 if registered during open registration and $1,000 if using a post-close spot, for LUNGevity; a
designated Charity Partner of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon 2013. Your credit card
information is required as a guarantee against this pledge.
total commitment of $500/$1,000 is due in two installments. The
first half is due by September 13, 2013. If $250/$500 is not met by the close of
business on September 13, your credit card will be charged for the amount of
$250/$500, less any payments received from your donors by that date. The
second deadline is October 21, 2013. If
your donations do not total the full minimum pledge your credit card
will be charged on October 21, 2013 for the amount necessary to fulfill that
pledge. (Any amount charged to your credit card will be considered a charitable
donation and we will send you confirmation of this donation for tax
If you are unable to participate in the marathon due
to illness, injury or conflict, you are obligated to raise at least half
of the required $500/$1000 as set forth in this agreement. Please note that
donations will not be refundable if the Fundraiser does not participate
in the marathon.
