Margery Jacobson joined LUNGevity Foundation in March 2010 as the Operations Assistant Manager. She is delighted to be part of this mission-driven organization that makes the most of its resources to provide hope to so many.
After graduating with an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Margery worked for ten years in consumer research before moving to Honolulu. There she stayed at home with her children when they were very young, then followed them to school to manage their elementary school office. Her first position after her return to Chicago was at the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, where she primarily focused on development.
Margery lives in Chicago’s East Lakeview area, and explores the neighborhoods she never had time to during her graduate school years.
