Jason Swanson is a Principal of Richter Consulting, Inc., a financial consulting firm where Jason focuses on advising banks and other lenders on their troubled loans. Prior to joining Richter Consulting in 2009, Jason spent eight years in corporate finance at Merrill Lynch and Fleet Capital, working with both private equity firms and management teams to develop optimal debt capital structures and assess restructuring alternatives in adverse situations. Jason also spent two years as a private equity investor at Madison Dearborn Partners where he evaluated business plans and developed financial models. Jason began his career performing acquisition due diligence services in leveraged buyout transactions at Ernst & Young.
Jason joined the LUNGevity board in January 2009. Jason's mother is a lung cancer survivor and has seen firsthand the benefits of cancer research and new treatment development.
Jason is a CPA and graduated from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Jason lives in Evanston, Illinois, with his wife, Casey, and their three sons: Brett, Kyle, and Colin.
