Jerry Sorkin is an Executive Director at Corporate Executive Board (CEB), a leading provider of business research and tools, executive education, and benchmarking to the world’s great enterprises. Jerry joined CEB in 1996 and served as a member of the company’s leadership team for more than a decade. During that time, Jerry held a number of positions helping to grow the company from less than $20 million to more than $500 million in revenue. Jerry launched and managed more than a dozen of the company’s different product and business lines.
Prior to joining CEB, Jerry practiced law at Covington & Burling in Washington, DC. Jerry received his BA from Yale College and his JD from Harvard Law School.
Jerry Sorkin is a three-time cancer survivor who was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer in August, 2007. Jerry began working with LUNGevity Foundation in 2009 as a member of the Communications Committee and the strategic planning task force and as event coordinator for LUNGevity’s first Washington, DC, walk. Jerry joined the LUNGevity Board of Directors in October, 2009.
Jerry lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife and two young daughters.
