Sue Bersh is Vice President-Communications with AMLI Residential, an developer, owner and manager of luxury apartment communities across the country, where she has worked for 28 years.
Sue lost her grandmother to lung cancer as a teenager, and in 2008 she lost one of her best friends, Elyse Bernstein Keefe, to the disease. In an effort to continue Elyse’s fight and honor the memory of both her grandmother and dear friend, Sue became involved with LUNGevity. She is determined to make a difference in funding hope and providing support and community for lung cancer patients and their loved ones. Sue has been on the Board since 2009 and is Event Coordinator of Breathe Deep North Shore (formerly Breathe Deep Deerfield).
She has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois.
Sue lives in Deerfield, Illinois, with her husband, Joel, and three sons: Sam, Danny, and Jonathan.
