Washington (September 29, 2011) - LUNGevity Foundation has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, American’s premier charity evaluator.

 LUNGevity, the nation’s largest lung cancer research non-profit, was awarded the top rating based on its sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency.  

The four-star rating indicates that LUNGevity adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way. In awarding its top ranking, Charity Navigator noted that the  “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates LUNGevity Foundation from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.
