Nation’s largest lung cancer-focused nonprofit receives 2012 CEB Community Investment Grant to help stop lung cancer

WASHINGTON (March 22, 2012)LUNGevity Foundation is pleased to announce Corporate Executive Board (CEB), an Arlington, Va. based leading research and advisory services firm, as one of its 2012 National Sponsors. As a National Sponsor, CEB helps LUNGevity in its quest to fund life saving research for treatments and cures for the nation’s number one cancer killer, providing resources and helping build a community for those impacted by the disease.

As a recent recipient of the 2012 CEB Community Investment Grant, which serves to  advance entrepreneurship, innovation and community building in cities and countries in need around the world, LUNGevity has entered into a relationship with CEB which includes both financial and in-kind support. In addition, LUNGevity is pleased to have the support of CEB volunteers.

CHICAGO (March 1, 2012) - LUNGevity Foundation, a non-profit committed to funding lung cancer research and advocacy, is participating in the craziness of March by launching the Make it a Slam Dunk – Stop Lung Cancer Now internet campaign.  Make it a Slam Dunk- Stop Lung Cancer Now is a month-long campaign dedicated to raising critical funds that will support the most promising lung cancer research.  The campaign kick-off is March 1 and runs the entire month.  LUNGevity hopes to engage basketball fans everywhere to come together and take part in the Make it a Slam Dunk – Stop Lung Cancer Now campaign.
