Samantha joined LUNGevity in September 2011 as an Operations Assistant. Always enjoying the field of non-profit, she is happy to join such a strong foundation in its fight against lung cancer. While a lot of her time is spent entering donations and registrations, she enjoys the chance to speak with various LUNGevity supporters throughout the day.
She graduated from Bradley University in Peoria IL majoring in Communications (Radio/TV) with a minor in Creative Writing, and soon found she was drawn to non-profits. Soon after coming to Chicago Samantha started as a special events coordinator with Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago before joining the LUNGevity team.
Originally from Louisville, KY Samantha moved to Chicago in 2008 and is still never mentally prepared for its winters. She lives with her fiancé and their dog, Barksdale, and when not lounging with them she can be found running on Chicago’s Lakefront path.
