Cindy Almendarez came to know LUNGevity by joining "Esther's Pearls" in the 2012 Breathe Deep DFW event. Cindy's friend of 25 years, Esther, is a five-year survivor of lung cancer.
In 1998 Cindy lost her grandfather T.P. Robinson to multiple cancers. She also lost her grandmother Tommie to lung and brain cancer in 2007. She is grateful to work for LUNGevity because it confirms her belief that if there are enough people helping the world, together they can heal the world.
Before she came to LUNGevity, Cindy was a realty technician for the General Services Administration, a department of the United States government. She also worked for the City of Fort Worth. She enjoys being involved in her local PTA and having fun with her two kids, and she is enjoying this beautiful life alongside her husband of 9 years.
