Join us in our efforts to
educate and advocate for
- Increased research funding into the early detection and treatment of
lung cancer
- Better resources for lung cancer patients, their families, and their
caregivers
- An end to the stigma of lung cancer
- About 55% of all new lung
cancer diagnoses are among people who have never smoked or are former smokers
- Regardless of the cause, no one deserves lung cancer

What it takes to be a member
Members are encouraged to:
- 2
conference calls a year. These calls are informative in
nature, offer support and free training to give you the confidence and
resources you need to engage others and raise awareness about lung cancer.
Members will receive an invitation by mail to participate in upcoming
calls.
- Participate
or host a LUNGevity event. Participate in an existing local
event, volunteer or host an event of your choice! From a simple email
campaign to a walk or sporting event, we will walk you through it every
step of the way. Start at your own pace. Let us know your Action Plan and
we can help you execute it!
- Report
back! Keep
us updated on what’s happening in your state and in your local community.
Let us know about news stories, local support groups and cancer events and
if possible we will engage, support and offer information to spread the
word about lung cancer and LUNGevity.
We will provide our LUNGevity
LinkUP members with
