Upstage Lung Cancer's 6th Annual Concert

Upstage Lung Cancer's 6th Annual Concert

“Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime”

Dean Martin

Join us to celebrate the music of Dean Martin and the Rat Pack!

Dean Martin died of lung cancer in 1995, but his wit and love of life live on through his music. Join us for an evening to celebrate his legacy and to help us improve the survivorship of lung cancer.

Dean Martin was the classic handsome crooner of the mid-20th century. He was the essence of “cool.” Martin began performing in Las Vegas with a group of close friends who were members of the legendary Hollywood clique known as the “Rat Pack,” which included Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. They epitomized the highlife. “The satisfaction that I get out of working with these two bums is that we have more laughs than the audience has,” Martin said.

Purchase your event tickets now at Upstage Lung Cancer. Founded by a lung cancer survivor who’s a cabaret singer, Upstage Lung Cancer is a charitable organization established to increase the survivorship of lung cancer by raising awareness and supporting research for early detection and innovative treatments. Music and musical theater entertainment are their means to raise funds to accomplish this mission.

The proceeds from this event fund LUNGevity Foundation's research program. Together, we have funded almost $1 million in research to date – research that is helping us understand how lung cancer starts and spreads, how to find it and treat it effectively, and how to improve the duration and quality of patients’ lives. Together, we are making a real difference… and some beautiful music!
