Upstage Lung Cancer's 6th Annual Concert
“Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime”
Join us to celebrate the music of Dean Martin and the Rat Pack!
Dean Martin died of lung cancer in 1995, but his wit and love of life live on through his music. Join us for an evening to celebrate his legacy and to help us improve the survivorship of lung cancer.
Dean Martin was the classic handsome crooner of the mid-20th century. He was the essence of “cool.” Martin began performing in Las Vegas with a group of close friends who were members of the legendary Hollywood clique known as the “Rat Pack,” which included Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. They epitomized the highlife. “The satisfaction that I get out of working with these two bums is that we have more laughs than the audience has,” Martin said.
