Caregiver Contest

LUNGevity Foundation announces a very special contest to reward a very special caregiver!

We’re looking to honor a spectacular individual who’s provided exceptional care to a lung cancer patient.

Please send in your nominations for that incredible caregiver in your life.  An independent panel of judges will pick a winner based on this criteria:

  1. Someone who is an advocate for their loved one’s medical needs
  2. Someone who is supportive and helpful with their loved one’s emotional needs
  3. Someone who recognizes their own limitations and seeks support as needed in order to be the best caregiver possible

The prize is a one-week stay at Cricket House in the historic Gettysburg area of Pennsylvania, and includes round-trip airline tickets for two.

Cricket House is a unique and beautiful alternative to traditional inns and lodgings. Located in the heart of the Gettysburg historic district, Cricket House is a short walk to the town square and charming shops, restaurants, and attractions. It also neighbors the entrance to the Culp's Hill section of the National Battlefield Park surrounding Gettysburg.

Nominations for the contest will be accepted through December 31, 2012. Winner will be announced in January of 2013. To make a nomination, please fill out the nomination form here.

The prize includes a one-week stay (Monday thru Sunday) for two people at Cricket House, plus round-trip economy airfare for two from anywhere in the 48 contiguous United States. All other costs are the responsibility of the winner. LUNGevity employees and their family members are not eligible to win. For more information please email info@lungevity.org.
